Who We Are
D&R Energy is a renewable energy installer headquartered in Portishead, North Somerset. Incorporated in February 2022, we have been helping homeowners and businesses across the South West harness the power of solar energy, reduce their electricity bills, and lower their carbon footprint.
As a local company, we understand the unique characteristics of South West properties and take pride in delivering tailored solar solutions that maximise energy generation. The South West receives the highest solar irradiance in the UK, making it the ideal location for solar panel installations.
We serve a wide area within approximately 50 miles of our Portishead base, covering Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, and Swindon.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme is the UK's national quality standard for small-scale renewable energy installations. MCS certification is required for eligibility under the Smart Export Guarantee, ensuring our customers can earn from surplus solar electricity exported to the grid.
NAPIT Registered
The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers certifies our electrical competence and compliance. NAPIT registration confirms that our installations meet Building Regulations Part P for electrical safety and are carried out by fully qualified professionals.
RECC Member
